PVDF (Polyvinylidene Fluoride) is typically used in the production of AATIS Aluminium Composite Panels. AATIS surfaces are treated with either Kynar 500 or Hylar 5000 which contain 70% PVDF resin to ensure high weatherability and long lasting colour. AATIS Aluminium Coil passed the European Coil Coating Association (ECCA) Standards and the American Aluminium Manufacturers Association (AAMA) Standards.

This is the most widely used of all aluminium alloys. It is essentially commercially pure aluminium with the addition of manganese which increases the strength some 20% over the 1100 grade.

This alloy is generally considered to be an improved version of 3xxx. It has the same general mechanical properties as 3xxx but appears to stand up better in actual service.
